Directions

Directions to the Cabin at 89 Parker Creek Rd, from Murfreesboro town square

*** Note: Guests have said that GPS has led them down gravel roads to get to the cabin when paved roads are available.

The distance from the town square to the cabin is 9.7 miles.

1. From the Murfreesboro town square go north on N Washington Ave and drive .5 miles.

2. Turn left onto W 13th St and you will arrive at a 4-way stop in .1 miles.

3. Turn right onto AR-19 (N Maple) and drive 6.2 miles which will bring you to the Lake Greeson Dam on the Little Missouri River.

4. Turn left onto the bridge and turn left again on the other side of the bridge onto Beacon Hill Rd.

5. Drive approximately 2.5 miles to Parker Creek Rd, then turn right and drive .5 miles to the first entrance or another 600 feet to the second entrance. The first entrance is a little steep so the 2nd entrance is recommended. The 2nd entrance is just outside the Army Corps of Engineers Parker Creek Recreation Area. If you cross a cattle guard you have gone slightly past the 2nd entrance. There is a street sign at both entrances with the street name Pebblemist Lane.  The first entrance has a utility pole with a street light on the left side and is the only lighted entrance. The 2nd entrance also has a garbage bin with the property address prominently displayed on it in blue.

Note: The first cabin you see on the left at the corner of Beacon Hill Rd and Parker Creek Rd is not the destination although its name is similar (Parker Creek Cabin). For reference purposes, when driving from Murfreesboro to the cabin, the entrance to Swaha Marina is on the right about ½ mile from the dam at the Hwy 19 access.

Quaint little spot

It was so much better than what I expected. The drive to the cabin was beautiful & once we pulled up to the cabin that was "ours", I was taken back by its charm. My kids loved it from the moment they peeked in the windows! They said it is exactly what they want to build for their home one day. Everything you need is right there for your convenience, whether you need to clean up after digging in the crater or if you choose to cook meals. The owner also provided info on local businesses should you choose otherwise. He was very nice & made sure we were aware that he would be there in an instant should we need anything.

This cabin was everything we were expecting. It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked. The marina was close and we were able to rent a boat and take a trip around the lake. We had a great time.

Beautiful and secluded location close to Murfreesboro. Easily located and accessed with directions provided or Google maps. Clean and well equipped with all you’ll need to prepare and serve meals. Definitely glad I booked.

Wow!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Great communication with the owner. Everything you need is here, just bring food and clothes. If your GPS or map app takes you on a gravel road to get there, turn around! There are paved roads leading to the cabin (that don't cross 3 creeks) It is a great place to stay. You'll love it!

It was a great cabin and fit 5 of us perfectly! It's in the middle of no where and the area is very wooded and and lots of hills. The host was great and made sure everything was taken care of and also gave excellent instructions for everything.

Peaceful Stay

Great stay! Everything was as described and the location was very private and safe. Definitely follow the written directions (or compare them to your map app) because we arrived late the first night and we were on a gravel road for 10 miles. Used a different app the next morning and the drive was much more pleasant! Communication with the owner was on point!

We loved our stay at the Parker Creek Cabin. The cabin is fully equipped and the bedding was great, as well as the towels. There were 5 in our group and the sleeping arrangements worked for us. Even in January we were able to have a fire in the fire pit and sit out on the covered porch when it rained. The area is wooded, quiet and we felt very safe staying there. Even coming in at night the cabin was easy to find and parking was great. All of our group said they would rent this property again. The owner, who also built the cabin, was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. If you get a chance rent this cabin!
